Another successful housing scheme by Primesave is nearing completion, with all plots sold. Little did we expect in January 2023, when we agreed on our first sale at Oaks Meadow in Sarn, that by autumn of the following year, all the properties would be sold and the estate of 44 homes would be nearing completion. This remarkable journey has been both exciting and rewarding for us.
The development, now known as Maesderw, has proved to be a great success and truly justifies our policy of planning and building homes that meet the needs of the community. Within Maesderw, we have provided nine homes available exclusively to local first-time buyers, eight bungalows, and 27 three- and four-bedroom homes for families. We are proud to have kept prices competitive and affordable throughout the process, which has attracted many buyers from the local area who are eager to settle in this vibrant community.
We have received tremendous support from the Development Bank of Wales, Powys County Council, our estate agents Morris Marshall & Poole, as well as many local suppliers and tradespeople. This collaboration has been essential in bringing our vision to life. Together, we make a great team, and the results speak for themselves.
Looking ahead, we are excited about new developments starting in Crew Green and Pontrobert, with more schemes to be announced in Powys soon.
